We played last night in Temple Bar Music Centre along with Ann Scott, Mundy, Gerry Fish, The Urges and more as part of a benefit gig in aid of a cancer patient who was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness. A fund has been set up to assist in paying for his treatment in the UK. The event was being organised by a number of his friends, many of whom work in the music industry in Dublin. The organisers also aim to raise awareness in young people of the importance of early cancer screening and detection. The gig was sold out by the time we were confirmed, and last week was insanely busy so apologies for not putting anything up beforehand. We played two new songs, Champagne Glass and one which is called Astronaut at present, although it has nothing to do with astronauts so chances are it'll be changed soon. We have another new song ready for the gig next Tuesday in the Voodoo Lounge, maybe two, so do come along and let us know what you think. |
